What data we collect

We only collect what's needed to keep you informed and to keep the site running:

Email address — when you sign up for the waitlist through the form on the site.
Visit and click behaviour — via the Meta Pixel, to see how many people visit the page and sign up, and to show ads to people who showed interest before.

We never ask for your address, phone number, or payment details — Vesper isn't for sale yet and there's no checkout.

Why we use this data

To send you one message as soon as Vesper is for sale — no more often, no separate newsletter around it.
To understand whether our ads reach the right people, so we don't waste budget on people Vesper isn't meant for.

For your email address, we ask explicit consent (you confirm your sign-up via a separate email, double opt-in). For the Meta Pixel: it's only activated after you choose "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you choose "Decline", the Meta Pixel isn't loaded.

Who we share data with

We work with a limited number of parties who help us run the site and the waitlist:

Party	Role
Klaviyo	Sends the confirmation email and manages the waitlist.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram)	Shows ads and measures whether they work, via the Meta Pixel.
Netlify	Hosts the website.

We never sell your data to third parties.

How long we keep data

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe, or until Vesper has launched and the waitlist is no longer needed — with a maximum of 24 months after you sign up if you don't hear from us in that time.

Your rights

You always have the right to:

See what data we hold about you.
Have incorrect data corrected.
Have your data deleted.
Object to how your data is used.
File a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you feel we're not handling your data carefully.

Cookies

This site uses the Meta Pixel to track how many people visit the page and whether they sign up. This happens via cookies. On your first visit, the cookie banner at the bottom of the page asks for your consent. If you choose "Accept", the Meta Pixel loads. If you choose "Decline", it doesn't. Your choice is remembered in your browser (localStorage) and applies to the whole site. You can always change your choice by clearing vesperdrinks.com's site data in your browser, after which the banner appears again.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy, for example once Vesper is actually for sale and an ordering and shipping process is added. The date at the top of this page shows when this policy was last updated.
